Eminem’s latest record out, 'Curtain Call', features many of this greatest tracks including:

Sing For The Moment
Lose Yourself
Just Lose It
Without Me
The Real Slim Shady
My Name Is
Mockingbird
Stan
Guilty Conscience
Cleanin' Out My Closet

Also included is 'When I'm Gone', a brilliant new track. Also features is a new version of ‘Stan’, which features Elton John, and which was recorded Live.

One track that I do not particularly like is 'Fack', its relatively short track, but poor compared to other tracks on the collection.

Following the usual Eminem tradition, the album starts with a strange introduction called 'intro', which will cause a few laughs.

If you are a fan of Eminem, and already have all four albums, I still urge you to buy this, simply for the bonus tracks, and also to complete the collection (unfortunately this is more than likely to be his last record).

If you want to get into Eminem, then this is a great record to start off with. It features popular, appealing classics such as ‘The Real Slim Shady’ and ‘Without Me’.

If you like rap music, then this is a great record to buy!

5 Out of 5 – Excellent

A.R.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CD's I OWN!! [[Eminem = Lyrical Genius]] I must first start thought by saying I would not consider myself a rap fan (might sound strange after the first line I wrote), however this CD has it all; classic tracks & new tracks. The best song has to be 'Stan' but there is a long list of great tunes like 'My Name Is', 'Lose Yourself', 'Sing For The Moment', 'Without Me', 'Like Toy Soldiers', 'The Real Slim Shady', 'Mockingbird', 'Cleanin' Out My Closet' and 'Just Lose It'. The live version of 'Stan' with Elton John at the Grammy Awards is amazing because thay are the two last people you would pair together!! And as for the new track 'When I'm Gone' that's very good too. So, as I said an amazing must have CD 10/10

Basically I wanted a cd with all of his hits on it rather than buying the individual albums. When looking for this item, I examined the information and found it to be complete and concise.

  Best of the 'Best Of's........?
Review created: 30/01/08

Sme compilation/Best Of albums have 4 or 5 great songs, then a few fillers and are topped of with a couple of weak new tracks. This is surely NOT one such example. There are no weak tracks, every time a new ne starts it just makes you think 'ey, this is awesome!' I would most certainly recommend this to anyone with hal-decent taste in msic. Yes, it's not one for the kids due to some of the language but it should be in everyones collection. Live version of 'Stan' with Elton John is brilliant as well as the original with Dido. All the hits are here, just put it on while your doing something else and I guarantee you'll end up forgetting what you were oing and just sit around listening to the cd! A must have - go and buy it!

Eminem Curtain Call (Parental Advisory/The Hits)
Review created: 08/05/07

I was asked by my 12 year old nephew to try to find him a copy of this CD on e Bay and after several attempts managed to locate one at a reasonable price. However whilst he is absolutely delightled with his CD I personally think it contains a lot of bad language and is not suitable for his age group. However, I have to say he is not the kind of boy who would use this language but does enjoy looking up the lyrics to sing along to. Parental Advisory really is advisable on buying this album but he enjoys all the music usually on a private headphone/ear pieces.

This is Eminem 5th major hit album, and it's his Greatest hits album. Although the hits are fantastc, and the new featured songs are too, they missed out some of his greatest, skilled and talented work.

It's worth its money!

\if this is really Marshal's last CD, then he couldn't have picked a better way to say goodbye, especially through the song 'When I'm gone', with a great mix of new and old songs he shows hes not just a rapper, but a great voaclist in many different types of music, as many songs ryme, but aren't rap. This is deffinately his best work and he seems to improve with time, it might have something to do with as time goes on he has more troubles to write about, I still think he has one last album to write, maybe a tribute to Proof R.I.P, maybe for Kim, or his mum, or maybe to say goodbye in a more oving and spectacular way that what he has hinted at in this last album, if you don't own this album, or even any Eminem album, this should be your fist purchase, a must own CD.

  Eminem - Curtain call

I bought the CD as a gift for my son. Big Mistake! There is a parental advisory warning on the cover but niavely I thought that it was for a bit of swearing. Fortunately I listened to it in the car before giving it to him.
The music is great, but the lyrics go way over the top. I can forgive some of the swearing but with some tracks it was seemed that there were no other words other than expletives. Others were plain disgusting. Even my 16 - 19 year old students thought some of the lyrics were over the top.
I thought recorded music was for the masses, it's a shame that artists as good as Eminem don't realise that children like their music and tone down. Good music and good lyrics sound as good without the F word every 5 seconds.

This is another 1 of his excellent albums to hit the shops. I would rate this one as his best ever. Includes the infamous STAN, TOY SOLDIERS, GUILTY CONSCIENCE AND WHEN I'm GONE.

DISLIKES ABOUT THE ALBUM; Eminem is seriously one of the best rappers alive today, but why on earth is Elton John singing STAN at the end of the album. Spoils it for me, Elton stick with the old ballad songs which you are good at.

The Greatest Rap CD of our generation?
Review created: 11/02/06

Unlike alot of people i know, i dislike Rap, or should i say disliked!?!?
I got this CD for my birthday and put it off for a while. Eventually i listened to it and immedietly felt immersed. Eminem is misjudged these days like all other rappers. We just see them as a load of random words and hands gestures, but NO, alot of Eminem's songs are enough to make even the toughest men cry, with emotional vocabulary and fantastic singing talent rolled into one to make the ultimate CD.
Eminem really has changed my perspective on life, espiccially the heart-breaking story behind 'Stan (feat. Dido)'
So i recommend running to the shops and going to get it NOW!!!!
(to anyone who cares im in fact listening to it now as writing this)

Perfect for those who like the singles

This album has Eminem's singles on here, and a few other tracks. I was fairly disappointed that the D12 singles have been missed out, but the album is good, I listen to it all the time. There were a couple of songs on the album that were bad, I thought, "Stan" with Elton John was very poor, but overall this album is worth buying, and probably the last album he will ever do. Perfect for the fans who do not have all of the albums!

  Eminem's farewell album?!
Review created: 26/01/06
3 of 14 people found this review helpful.

Question: How can a collection of Eminem’s greatest hits fail to entertain?

Answer: Quite simply it can’t!

Eminem's back with his latest and what is rumoured to be his final album. The album is basically a two-disc compilation of his greatest hits.

Eminem has now released 4 albums prior to this so it is conceivable the avid Eminem fan will already have the majority of these tracks on other albums.

These include the comical singles like "My Name Is" and "The Real Slim Shady" to the hilarious bout between Eminem and Dr. Dre in the "Guilty Conscience" track. This is the funniest track on the album and is reminiscent of a devil saying ‘do it’ against an angel saying ‘don’t do it’ scenario in a cartoon. “Shake That” featuring Nate Dogg and the 8 Mile soundtrack “Lose Yourself” are also great tracks.

Combine all this together with Eminem’s collaboration with Dido for hit “Stan” and you’ve indeed got yourself a repertoire of material that typifies Eminem’s hits throughout his illustrious career.

One possible drawback of the album is that it doesn’t include tracks such as "Till I Collapse" but I guess you have to draw the line of what to include somewhere.

All in all, you can be assured this is a great album!

A great collection of Eminem's best

Well I don't want to bore you by repeating what everyone else has said so I'll keep it short. As the title says, this is an excellent new collection of Marshall's tracks - everything in one place! :o)
Featuring the new track 'When I'm gone' and all the old faves like 'Stan' and 'Without me' this is the ultimate collection for an Eminem fan!!
So why haven't I given it a 5 out of 5 like everyone else?? Some idiot decided to put the live version of Stan with Elton John on the Cd!! lol!! What a waste of perfectly good disc space!!!

Eminem curtain call, the last and most greatest album!

I have been a fan of Eminem for a very long time. I feel this album reflected alot on how much he has changed and sung more about the important things in life rather then who he dislikes.
I am happy that he has finially remarried his ex wife Kim and is paying for care for his mum who was diagnosed with cncer not long ago. Seems like hes got himself back on track and with the lyrics and great tunes on this album hes deffinatly given us all a great send off as its his last album!

  Eminem - Curtain Call
Review created: 16/01/06
2 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Eminem's four studio albums have shattered so many sales records that you might think just about every man, woman and hamster on the planet already owns a bulk of the songs that make up this greatest hits collection. But Curtain Call presents the perfect opportunity to have another look at the life of Marshall Mathers. Starting out in the vein of the Beastie Boys and Slick Rick, he grafted filthy verses over bubbly nursery rhyme melodies and primitive Casio beats to come up with comical singles like "My Name Is" and "Real Slim Shady." Then angst and reflection set in, resulting in rare moments of vulnerability ("Lose Yourself") and a richer amazing musical experience ("Stan"). The three new tracks reflect the entire spectrum, with "When I'm Gone," a bittersweet goodbye letter, signaling the raw emotion and youthful enthusiasm of his early days have substantially faded, while "Fack" counters that the Detroit rapper still has the dirtiest mouth in the business.
