I lived the Bar scenes the wild side od life is always more interesting than a hard luck story with a happy ending. Some of the catchy lines got me in stitches and i think its definately one for the girls and happy boys.

Moving to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a famous songwriter, Violet Sanford (Perabo) finds herself desperate and broke. Through a twist of fate the shy, innocent Violet lands a job as one of the barmaids at the hottest nightclub in town - the down and dirty, wild and fun Coyote Ugly. Pouring drinks and overflowing with attitude, the Coyotes spend more time on top of the bar than behind it, tantalising the standing-room-only crowd with their outrageous antics. It's one wild adventure for a small-town girl chasing a dream in the big city.

this i a wonderful film, about violet a small town girl who moves to big city to be a singer. along the way she makes friends, has a good time and falls in love. i have seen it before has great seens and outstanding soundtrack.i highly reccomend this to anyone. gives the rest of us hope we can gain are goals.

This is a great chick flick. The storyline is fabulously entertaining with great music to accompany it. Dancing, singing and some classic tunes. This film is packed with tonnes of girlie fun. It also has some great actors in it such as Maria Bello (or Dello, I can't remember). I had a really good time watching this. If you're a musician or an actor or both you will definately love this. Or more generally, if you lurve a good chick-flick, check this out!

I first seen this movie on sky and when i wacthed this movie i just had to buy it. Its a great comady rommace the story lines are great i love it that much i wacth it over and over again. There is`nt anything about this movie that i dislike. I give coyote ugly a big thumbs up 5/5.

Coyote Ugly is an excellent film. It portrays a wonderful father-daughter relationship that everyone can enjoy. It also shows how any parent may cope with the "empty-nest" syndrome that seems to occur when your child leaves home. Violet is the main character and she is a good example for any girl/woman. She is strong, independent and determined. The music is great, storyline is remarkable, all in all *****!

This movie was brilliant - everybody I know that watched it loved it, both boys and girls - but for different reasons.
The Girls loved the music, the relationships that grow throughout the film, and well the whole film together...
The Boys only like one thing about it - the "hot" girls dancing dirty on the bar.
This film is amazing, the cast was perfect and the soundtrack was brilliant. What more can you ask for in a film?

Violet Sanford played by Piper Perabo is an innocent young woman from New Jersey with a dream to go to New York City to follow her dream of becoming a songwriter. The problem is that to get her songs heard, she actually has to sing them herself. Suffering with a psychological fear of stage fright, she finds a spot at a night club but bottles her perfomance after abuse being hurled at her by a shovanistic audience member.
She visits another club and asks for the Music Manager. The barman decides to capitalise on her naivete and have a little fun. He leads her to believe the man who cooks the burgers is the Music Manager. Embarrasingly, she approaches the man and asks him if he can help her achieve her goal and hands him a cassette sample of her song to which the opportunist burger cook, Kevin O'Donnel, played by Australian actor Adam Garcia, accepts in the hope he can get to know her a little better.
Violet finds work at a bar called Coyote Ugly dancing on bars in skimpy outfits with a crew of other girls (The Coyotes) pulling in the punters for owner Lil, played by Mario Bello. She earns a lot of money in tips but her new boyfriend Kevin is upset she works in the bar lusted after by the male punters and wants her to pursue her songwriting dream.
Violet eventually finds herself a slot to sing at a large venue and just when everyone thinks she has stumbled again, she delivers a moving performance and reunites with estranged boyfriend Kevin.
This would be called mainly a woman's movie but is great for comedy and entertainment value.
