Madonna - Confessions On A Dancefloor (CD 2006)

Following the almost 'dismal' effort that is otherwise known as 'Music' i think this newest offering really shows Madonna at her finest - doing what she does best, pure dance music with the kind of vocals that only madonna can deliver.
I personally really enjoyed tracks 1 and 3 which are just superbly 'get up out of your chair and dance' - you'll be tapping your feet and singing along in no time (If you aren't already!)
Track 2 is again very nice, a little more mellow but funky all the same.
Track 10 is really unusual, i can almost detect some undertones of the Ray of light album, as i can in track 4.
Some of the tracks are edging on trance style synths and rhythms, very unique indeed. If you like Daft Punk, The Orb and good old funky beats then this is the album for you.
All in all - if you love Madonna, her attitude and her style, you'll surely love this!

its a great album by a great pop singer, she has been singing for a long time and still has the voice since when i was in school she has had many big hits throughout the world and i still enjoy her music and will still buy her cd's its great to listen when im driving my truck for long jorneys its fab to listen to with a good vibes........

Absolutely over the moon with this CD i bought, its in excellent condition, case as well as disc and I love every track, all this at an unbeatable price!

I love it. I like the kind of music and especially the bit. Make me dance. My children like it as well. I think that this CD is the best of Madonna.So if you like to dance then you Must have it

When I first heard the track 'Get Together' this sumed up everything I imagined the album to be, everything I wanted it to be and more! I was tottally overwhelmed. Each track has it's own uniqueness. The subtle hints of other songs detected within certain tunes became a guessing game of what she had sampled. This album is like one big giant disco ball which will make you want to get up and dance and keep on dancing I never get tired of it.

I love listening to it time and time again. Timeless classics. I bought it as I didn't have it in my collection.

I decided to buy this CD because I like a few of the tracks on it even though its a year out of date, its takes me that long to catch up with the music scene. I find the songs on the CD sound a little tin-nie, not sure whether thats my CD player or the CD. Overall, enjoyed the CD.

This album is what Madonna is all about. With one excellent track after another even people who aren't big fans will enjoy this. Obviously 'Hung up' and 'Sorry' are two of the best tracks, but there are other ones that weren't released as singles, especially 'Push' which could have been a number one in my view. You'll love this if you like music that get's you dancing. I always put it on when I'm cleaning the house, it get's me moving and I forget how much I hate to hoover!! Madonna back to her best.

I really enjoy listening to Madonna's music and have been wanting her latest cd for a while now. I am extremly glad that i now have this cd in my collection. Madonna never seizes to amaze me with her various styles of writing in this cd is no exeption. The main thing i like about this album is the fact that all the tracks blend in to each other...genious...
It is hard for me to decide which song i like best or like the least, they are equally as good as each other. If i had to choose though, i would say that forbidden love as to be at the top of my favourite list and i love new york would be one that is'nt played as much.

The only thing that in my opinion is missing, is song lyrics within the cover. Instead i have to search the internet for the lyrics to learn,,otherwise i'd struggle to sing along!!!

I like the album a lot, my mum even more, but i prefer here old music. i decided to buy it as it made the perfect gift for my mum.

i bought this album after watching her show at wembley,i love it,its a great album and was a great price,just to think i didnt like it before but it has definately grown on me!

This album is great dance music loving madonna's new stuff is really good. This album is a musta have for anybody as there is something for everybody on there.

Big Madonna fan. Love her new stuff but the old ones are the best. The missis love it too so it was a bonus. Recommend it to anyone. Had to have it.

Great sound from Madonna. Reinvent herself as a disco diva! I never got round to buying it when it came out, and just happened to come across the item whilst searching for something else.

I've always been a Madonna fan and she continues to evolve as an artist and manages to keep re-inventing herself and her music.I never find her dull and at times she is quite controversial with some of her songs,but that's what makes her original and she has shown she can stand the test of time. Confession's is no exception and there are some great dance tracks on the album such as 'Got To Be There' and 'Future Forever'.This is a worthy addition to anyone's cd collection and you can find it at the right price now. ( Try Tesco's!).Even better,if you can get hold of the Confession's concert on dvd then do so as it's a visual treat !!.Madonna is a fit 47 !!!. Cheers. Steve.

A fantastic album from a production point of voice, and effortlessly programmed to journey through the tracks, but it might be argued that the album is slightly dated. The typical and predictable 4/4 house beats, synths and house/disco samples. Suffice to say the big club hits including Hung Up, Get Together and Sorry are great, but give it a second, third and fourth listen and you might only be listening to the first few tracks before switching off again.
Overall rating, 4 out of 5, but it's not ground breaking.

I love this album as it's produced by the awesome Stuart Price aka Jacques lu Cont.
Also it goes down well at parties and get people up dancing with the electro disco synth beats and all this album bring.
I bid for it at a low price and got it for about £3 which i was so happy about.
Had heard several of the tracks or whole album proir to this and knew had to get it, bought a few of the tracks also on 12" vinyl with remixes on.
My favourite producer/remixer has to be Jacques so most stuff by him or his many guises find a way into mymusic collection.
As for finding anything i dislike about this album, well i can't.

I borrowed this CD off my daughter and loved it - it is full of energy from start to finish, something very rare in an album these days. When I hear a CD that is this good I feel it's unfair on the artist to not buy a copy myself. I didn't stop playing it until Madge hit the news with her recent publicity scam. I'm a Madonna free zone at the moment as a personal protest. Hopefully, it won't last. Either I'll come to my senses or she will.

I have always loved Madonna's music so had to buy her latest offering. It is a brilliant album with all her latest songs and more besides. It is brilliant, highly recommended. Madonna rarely fails to produce the goods!

loved this album bought it before i went to cardiff to see the madonna gig so that i could sing along!lots of great dancy traks

I love this album it's great. I decided to buy it after hearing the first couple of singles and was a little worried that the rest might be boring fillers but it is a fab album. If you liked the first few singles you'll more than likely enjoy the rest of it.

WAS GIVEN SECOND CHANCE OFFER,WHEN I RECIEVED IT,TO MY DISSAPOINTMENT IT WAS A COPY AND A BAD ONE AT THAT AS EVEN THE SONGS WASNT EVEN IN THE RIGHT ORDER

I Recieved the CD quickly and in perfect condition. It was just like purchasing it from HMV or other high street stores.

Althought being a huge MAdonna fan, and the CD played quite perfectly, had no scratches and was fine in ever other way, it was not an origonal it was a copied CD marked with a CD pen MAdonna Cofessions, this is the only negative thing i would say as the ad' did not mention it was a copy and had a copy of the original over on the posting. If it has been for my own purposes i would be fine with it, but it was for my brothers birthday, and needless to say could nopt goive him an e-bay copied CD, so had to end up paying the full price at HMV (which i troed to avoid in the first place).

Other then that, i would recomment this seller to all, it arrived in good time, fine quality (for a copy i guess) and played fine.
