Westlife - Coast To Coast (CD 2000)

westlife are great there music is fantastic they`ve done many good songs and i`d advice you to listen to it you don`t know what your missing

I purchased this because I wanted some older Westlife tracks but didn't want to pay new album prices! I generally use Ebay when looking for cheap CDs/DVDs etc. Most of the songs are good but I am still on the lookout for one in particular which I hoped was on this album. It wasn't, so that was slightly disappointing, however I don't know the name of the song so it is hit & miss.
Glad I bought it though as all in all, a very good album.

Westlife's next album was quickly recorded, and released in November 2000. Coast to Coast was a #1 hit in the UK, becoming the country's 4th biggest selling album of the year and Westlife's biggest selling album to date.[11][12]

Westlife took on a signing tour around the UK called "Coast To Coast". The album was preceded by a duet with Mariah Carey on the Phil Collins classic "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)" and the ballad "My Love". Both singles reached #1 in the UK charts.[13][14] With this, Westlife broke an unexpected record, having their first seven singles debut at the top of the UK charts. In December 2000, however, that run was broken when they failed to secure their eighth chart-topper in a row when kid's favourite Bob The Builder's "Can We Fix It" was crowned Christmas number-one single.[15] The said song is "What Makes a Man", which happens to be their first non-#1 single released.

In 2001, the boys launched their first world tour, Where Dreams Come True Tour 2001, unofficially nicknamed "The No Stools Tour", because of the band's reputation of performing perched on stools.[16][6]

The cd is actually very good, i songs vary - like there are some upbeat ons and then some slower ones for those VERY special occasions.

Even though the cover is quite bland - white with 5 members of the band posing - The cd is top quality and is a must buy for christmas, birthdays, and even valentines day.

My friend loves westlife an she didnt have this in her collection, so i got it her she loves it, but the cd jumps towards the end, but all in all a good cd

i love this cd it may be old but is good. enjoy listening to it and also great for relaxing to. i dont dislike anything about it. it was of good quality and exactly genine everyting that was said to be on it was on it . a great purchase

I ONLY DECIDED TO BUY THIS BASICALLY BECAUSE I AM TAKING MY MUM TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT IN MAY AND WANTED TO KNOW WHAT I WAS LETTING MYSELF IN FOR AS I NEVER REALLY FOLLOWED WEST LIFE. AFTER LISTENING TO THE CD IN THE CAR I AM PLEASED TO SAY I REALLYE NJOYED THEM & AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THEM IN BORNMOUTH NEXT YEAR!!

I bought this cd because i am a HUGE Westlife fan.I thought this cd was as good as the rest of their albums.It's a good album to sing along to whilst doing the housework or relaxing.If your a fan or just like a wee bit of a sing song this is the cd to buy.
