Catch Me If You Can (DVD 2004)

Based on a true story of the cheque forger and con man Frank W Abagnale Jr who pretends to be a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer. He makes millions and becomes a target for the FBI especially agent Carl Hanratty played by Tom Hanks (Has he ever been in a poor film?). The cat and mouse chase that ensues is well written and shot and is a first.... a film with Leonado Dicaprio in it that I like.

Love the film! Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks are terrific actors. Bought this for a bargain price from a great eBayer! Definitely 10/10 - go buy it!

Marvellous film, based on the true story of a groundbreaking fraud commited by a cheeky youngster who manages to evade Tom Hank's dogged detection because of his age. This is no childrens; film though, it is thrilling and absorbing with an intelligent script and excellent casting. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This film is simply brilliant. Leo as always plays his character without fault. An excellent cast also including Tom Hanks as the dectective trying to catch Leo's character, Martin Sheen and many more well known names.
A lovely light hearted true tale about a young man who runs away from home age 17 and begins counterfitting cheques to get by and then realises he can actually do and have whatever he wants. He first becomes an airline pilot, then a doctor, then a lawyer. It's a race against the clock for Leo with Tom Hanks right behind him!!

This move is excellent, I never watch movies twice but this I can watch over and over again. It is so interesting with twists and turns to keep you thinking. The best point of this movie is that it is based on a true story which amazes me how can people think of even getting up to such controversies and end up being successful. Such as the biggest hacker globally becoming employed by a government only to be paid millions!!!
