This album is really growing on me. I bought it because I'd seen a documentary about the band and their take had been that this goes back to the 'Then There Were Three . . ' days, which I agree with. Vocally Ray Wilson is more like Peter Gabriel without the rawness. It has a good blend of modern music with an element of the prog rock that we all know and love from their early days. Give it a go and give it a little time, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford are still incredibly talented musicians. It's a pity they called it quits after this.

I bought this because I've got everything else Genesis have done and after seeing Ray Wilson (the lead singer for this album) in concert, I knew it would be good. Ray has a lovely voice and is perfect for Genesis. Such a shame that they disbanded before he had a chance to record with them again. This album should have been added to the Genesis greats, but because it came late in their career, and after Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins had left, there didn't seem to be as much interest. It's a good album with interesting tracks.

I bought this cd basically cos the congo was on it which is one of my favourites, the songs are good but not as good as i thought they,d be,peter gabriel is an excellent singer and was worth the money that i paid for it!

This album written mainly by Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford features some of the best "touring" rock music in the sixties style. The title track is a mean almost funereal piece of music, though at nearly six minutes,a bit too long for the cd ,but great for Wembley, as is Alien".Shipwrecked and Congo- my favourite tracks-are in the background of my PC (along with anything by Collins)
I tend too skip "Not about us" and "dividing line",One man's fool at eight minutes is about as moody as it gets-- not a sing-along== but great listening, full volume is better,
All in all this Album is a great follow up to "Turn it On" and Genesis to Revelation
