Bones - Series 2 - Complete (DVD)

I bought this as my cable provider split from Sky, and I could no longer watch this quirky series. I wanted to see what I had been missing. I was not disappointed! Series 2 is even more polished than series 1, with greater character development. The stories are strong and filmed brilliantly. Can't wait till series 3 is on video.

I am absolutly hooked to this series i was glued to the 1st series so i had to have the 2nd series. I am looking forward to seeing series 3.

I like Bones a lot, but in this season the story arc seems to have moved from solving crimes to getting personally involved in them, much more so than in S1. At the end of the first season we learned that Brennan's mother was dead, and that her father was alive and on the run; in S2 this becomes a major part of the plot in several episodes. We also see a plot to kidnap one of the scientists, an episode in which someone's love-life compromises the evidence in a case, a copycat killer who takes plots from Brennan's novels, and so on. It's all great fun, but you have to wonder why anyone would want to entrust these scientists with the evidence, given the number of own goals and foulups, or involve them in cases where there is an obvious conflict of interest. It's to their credit that this is mentioned by various characters, with a "we've got to get our acts together" vibe.

This slight implausibility is more than made up for by the performances, both of the main cast and of guest stars such as Stephen Fry as the FBI's consulting psychiatrist, by some nice running jokes (for example, it turns out that the protagonist of Brennan's novels is Kathy Reichs, the author of the original books on which the series is based) and by some very good plots. I'm greatly looking forward to S3.

i bought series one a while ago and watched it, that was great and the second one was as good i loved it

Absolutely hooked on this program. The plots get better and better. An absolute must for those who love a mystery but also love to see what the characters get up to.
Certainly teaches a lot as well. Can't wait for the next series to come out on DVD!

Excellent from start to finish only slight downsides for me were the changing of Bones's boss was odd (he left without explanation whilst she was on holiday between Series 1&2)and the too-frequent links between murders Bones was investigating and her Father. Would rate this as 9.8 out of 10. ENJOY!!

wot a fantastic seasn of bones, it's just as good as the first. cant wait to see wot happen between bones and booth in the next season. i cant wait bring on season 3

Enjoyed watching the first series on television, due to family commitments was unable to watch the second series, thus bought the above item.
The characters in the series compliment each other and even though you get involved in their private lives, crimes are solved. The art of how the victims bones solve the crimes done to them is very well thought through and with the characters own personal view points the message of the crime comes across.

This is a brilliant series.... I've already seen series one so am really looking forward to series 2.

i really like my product because it plays weel and it looked liked new when i got it. i decided to buy it because i am a big fan of bones and i like to have the bix sets of programs i like so i can go back on them if i want to.

Excellent continuation of the program. The second series keeps the same pace as series one & the electric relationship between a forensic anthropologist & her FBI partner. Her team from the Jefferson Institute is second to none. Graphic recreations are the best I've seen for a serial! Well worth the watching. It CSI & Moonlighting rolled into one!! Love it or hate it, well worth a look.

Season 1 was fantastic, season 2 was just as good if not better as the characters were established. If you have not seen Bones then make sure you do.
I have already started watching season 3 on Sky and it just keeps going.

I saw a couple of episodes of Bones at a friends and found then really enjoyable. I then purchased the complete series 1 and 2 on dvd and can honestly say i have enjoyed every episode!
The cast work together well and as well as the forensic crime solving you have some personal insight into the teams lives.
There is some very graphic images of corpses so not for the squeamish or youngsters.

If your a Bones fan, then you know how Fantastic it is! If not then you should buy season 1 first and start from the beginning. As well as the crime story for each episode there are the characters storys unfolding along side. Not forgetting that you have the electric chemistry of the two main characters Brennan and Both.

Thays it Im hooked! I loved series 1 but series 2 - better than the first! Some of the stories are more personal to the team you get to find out more about brenan and lots happens to the squints. Even stephan fry is in some of the episodes if you liked the 1st series you'll love the 2nd.

I think they are wonderful the story line the intracacy and the mystery are so real. My daughter and I never miss an episode or a book on BONES by Kathy Reichs, we have all her books and all the 1 and 2 series on DVD. As soon as they come out we buy them.
