I bought this cos I own a couple of blur albums and liked what I own, and this album was only a pound or two, so I wasn't throwing away much if I won it. The tracks on it i'd heard before are not their best, and the others are far from their best. Still, two quid.
Rubbish. Bought the album for £9 4 years ago. Only decent track is Song 2 which can be listened to 10,000 times before you're tired of it. The rest is designed to sound crap because it was cool at the time.
I am a huge OASIS fan & everyone can remember the brit pop battle between the two bands. I of course backed Oasis in the fued, however a few years have past now & I thought it was time to try to open my ears to Blur.
Nothing I heard on this album even began to make me doubt my decision that Blur were the lesser of the two bands.
It certainly was a case of Blur won the battle but Oasis won the war.
