) the switch i purchased needs a power supply to operate, this was not supplied, the photographs did not show a power supply, but i assumed that as the product is no good without one (and it is supplied as a kit at retail) that one would be supplied with this item. there was no mention in the product description that the power supply is not supplied, like-wise it did not say that it was. bigger fool me for being so trusting, alesson well learnt.

Really straightforward little LAN Network Hub. Extremely easy to plug in and use. Just connect the power supply then all your computers and your router/modem using RJ45 leads and you have a simple home network to share you broadband across multiple PC's. Auto uplink means that you don't even have to think what port or RJ45 lead type it is. And the Belkin brand means its a bit more stylish to look at than the average boring black box of blinking LED's.
This is not a wireless Router just a straightforward hub for wired connection.
Buy this if you need to get your PC's to talk to each other/share an internet connection.
