After seeing batman:the dark knight before this one i wasnt epecting it to be amazing because it didnt get as much of an upwrite that the second one did, truely is a good no a brilliant film, i real insite into how bruce wayne became the batman and introduces the characters as well.definetly a good film to sit down to and watch.
nothing like the normal batman films.this is a very dark and fantasic story of batman ,how he became the bat,its shows how his parents die and why he becames a crime buster, the story line well put and done a film not really for the kids, more for the adult audience....worth watching.a must see film even if you not a fan of the other bat films..
This film is a classic batman fairtale . The good thing about this film its not like the other batman movies and on a different level the actors play it very well . all in all a good dvd to buy and watch alot
Excellent HDD film. Fantastic resolution. Good storyline and acting cast. Disc has a number of brilliant HDD enhanced features. Although the story is HDD is finished you cannot fault the format and its software.
Christian Bale makes his debut as the Gotham City's crimebusting marvel hero Batman. After the Tim burton's dark and inconsistant efforts I thought that Bale made a Good & refreshing Batman compared to Mr Keaton,Kilmer & Clooney! This is a future classic & I look forward to Christian's next Batman adventure.
I love this film, it really shows the origin of Batman and where his from and how he began, with alot more depth to the character than in the past Tim Burton's versions I think Christian Bale portrays Bruce Waynes character very well and i brought this HD DVD to do the film justice in high definition.
A batman movie for grown-ups. Better storyline than usual for the genre, made menacing by gothic ambience and above average performances. Recommended but not for children under 12.
I love this batman film it is the best by far! It goes into so much detail about how he became batman, not only through his costume and gachets but on a much more deeper level as he trains physicaly and mentaly and How he overcomes his fear of bats by becoming his fear. Love it!! and the actors are excellent
Batman Begins is what the previous Batman films wanted to be..menacing, entertaining, high on visual effects, low on gimmics, action packed and best of all it has a plausable plot and story line. A must have for all comic crusader fans surely. Question is though, how much of a fan are you? Do you buy the basic edition or do you look for something with that little extra? I'm an avid collector of appealing movies that offer me maximum entertainment whilst being value for money. Certain high street stores promote limited editions, specially packaged films and innevitably they disappear from shelves without a trace and can no longer be obtained. I find that Ebay however, offers not only value for money, if used correctly, but also the chance to get your hands on more obscure items such as this 'two disc special edition version of Batman Begins complete with graphic novel and holographic sleeve'..trying to find this particular edition and others alike, is like trying to find hens teeth. Needless to say I snapped it up rather sharpish regardless of the fact i'm allready the proud owner of a copy. My brother is a lucky chap, not only can he thanks his lucky stars to have family like me but also because some clever people out there invented Ebay to fulfill the needs of all us needy and wanten movie heads out there! Do yourself a favour and buy this film for a family feast of time sapping mind absorbsion but if your a true fan then make sure you go for the special edition and enjoy the journey backstage where you'll experience all the secrets and special featurettes.
Well what can I say, just go out and get it because it's worth a purchase. The film was really dark and ominous as we all expect from the Batman films. This film shows how the boy Bruce Wayne becomes Batman. Loads of martial arts style fighting and stunts. Cracking film.
The movie started well - explaining how Bruce Wayne came to be Batman, but after the first 45 mins I was bored. This film was much darker and slicker than the other movies, but the movie just didn't grab you and make you want to watch. Slowly went downhill in my opinion. The best thing about it was the cast - you couldn't really fault the casting or performances.
Well this film has got it all, Great cast, Great script, Great Director, and Great Chracters.....a Celebrated restart to the Batman franchise which was going in an unkown direction after the ill-fated Batman Begins....this film took us back to the origins of the character and what makes him the Batman, and a very enjoyable journey that was might I add....This film is not just a Great Adaption to the comics, a Great Comic-Movie, A Great Remake, but just an overall Great Film, stands up to a lot of the films on the Market today, Highly recomended by an A grade Media and Film student, who is very picky and choosy when it comes to the Hollywood market. 5 out of 5!
With Christopher Nolan at the helm, I knew this film was going to be different (but in a god way). Batman was all about fear in the comics and the two Joel Schumacer films were camp, over-exaggerated pieces of crap.
But Nolan's taken the Bat to his roots. Christian Bale is the best Bat yet with a flawless performance offering comedy and also the dark edge that Batman needs. Supporting actors such as Caine, Neeson and Freeman all add to the mood of the film and they bring the experience and knowledge that Bale has yet to gain.
The story is engaging and it's great to finally see why Bruce became the Bat, and even better is the creation of the Batsuit and his accessories. The Batmobile is the best out of the entire series with a more military feel and just sheer size.
Nolan really does portray the fear factor in this film with scay scenes of 'The Scarecrow' and even a freaky look at Batman himself.
If you're a fan of the first two Batman films (Batman and Batman Returns) then you need to see this film. It's darker, it's moodier, more of a mature story all rounded off with great performances and stunts with a pinch of comedy.
I really hope that Nolan and Bale stay together for the next Batman film which they reportedly are writing.
You can miss the other Batman movies but not this one. This is by far the best adaptation of the D.C. Comics original Character.Christian Bale puts in a stunning performance and leaves you wondering why this British born actor who has shown a very versatile side to his acting from Empire of the Sun to more recent roles like American Psycho failed to shine for the Bond role.Michael Caine brings a new humour to the role of Albert, and a strong cast and other noteworthy performances by Morgan Freeman,Rutger Hauer and Gary Oldman make this one not to miss.
