Vacation - Band From World War Zero -Album 2004
Ok, so its nothing that is goning to shape or change a generation but it is however a very welcome addition to the collection.
Sounding like 80s rock but with some killer riffs and some catchy 'sing along fun' tunes, its a pleasure to listen to or to rock out to.
It starts well with 'white noise'a catchy 'listen to me again and again' tune and on the first listen it seems to fall below par for the rest of the album. However, put it in again and then again and by your 3rd or 4th listen you find yourself knowing all the riffs and salavating for the 'kick in'. I'm now holding a much higher opinion of the album as it is good. like i said, its not gonna blow your socks off, but it certainly will secure a place in your cd wallet, especially for the summer.
If you can get if for under a fiver, it would be rude not to do it.
Worth a few listens to get into it and then your set up for some rock lovin'.
