I decided to buy this for my daughter to put as part of her xmas, I tend to buy alot of new products of ebay and find that is also much cheaper thasn going to the shops and much easier to do online x

) I brought ballet shoes because i attend ballet class and was interested to see what stage and dance schools were like back in the 1930's which is the period in which the film is set. I loved the acting, the characters and most of all the dancing which or though was not in all the scenes had enough to keep me happy. I discovered dance as an adult and it made me ponder on what it would of been like to study dance in my youth and to maybe made a career out of it. If you love dancing and like abit of romance as the under dog in a film then this one's for you. The story of the three young ladies struggling to make it to help there long suffering guardian is heart warming and it has a lovely ending that is not at all cheesy! Gold star!

) Ballet shoes is the story of 3 little orphaned girls, Pauline, Petrova and Posy Fossil growing up in the 1920s in london, it tells the story of how they make their fortune, how they vow to help make money for their family and how they end up
it was my favourite book as a child.
I know the story off by heart and i was excited to see the movie. I was a little disappointed about how much the story was cut and changed but i really enjoyed the movie. I bought it because I had managed to access itia the BBC website (it was shown at Christmas in the UK but i was on vacation and therefore unable to watch it) Emma Watson (Hermione Granger, Harry Potter) was excellent as Pauline. the dvd was worth buying

FIVE Stars With NO doubts as it is Emma Watson!!
I first got into this because Emma Watson was in it and i love her as an actress so wanted to see her out of Harry Potter, but then the book came into the library and so I thought i would read it, I loved it and rushed out to buy my own copy, I then couldn't wait to see this film, and WOW it did the book justice.
The characters were portrayed well and i really got into it. The acting was brilliant and I really believed the cast as the characters they were playing.
Certain bits were changed from the book but that is only expected.
I now can't wait for the DVD so i can watch it again and again. Truly amazing and a must see for anyone who has read the book or wants a nice heartwarming story and brilliant acting!!!
