UFO - BBC Sessions/In Concert (CD 1999)

Any fan of UFO will appreciate and be fascinated by this unusually eclectic collection of BBC Radio 1 Concert tracks which I do not beleive are available anywhere else - at least I havn't found them!

You get all the top favourites such as Rock Bottom, but also some rare early tracks.

All band members and especially Michael Schenker are on top form and whilst it does not have the energy, or atmosphere of Strangers in the Night, it is in my opinion the 2nd best live album available and way ahead of other live albums featuring early material such as; Live in Tokyo, or Live in Texas in terms of quality of performance and sound.

The fact that these are such old recordings '74 to '78 means that the audience is for the most part totally silent during tracks and only claps at the end - this means you can hear every note of live performances - something you cannot hear on any other UFO album.
