Was trying to hunt down a copy of C'est La Vie which was compatible with itunes which is surprisingly hard to do. Instead got the whole album at a bargain price. It is true cheesy classics which makes everyone want to dance. Esp good for doing pretend irish jigs!
This is exactly the kind of music that my 'serious music listening' head says I shouldn't give time to, but it never fails to make me smile.
There are actually more songs than I expected to recognise on this album, but C'est la vie is still the standout. Blame it on the Weatherman is the other big hit.
The combination of irish traditional rhythm and instruments, together with up-beat pop tempo, teenage singers and unchallenging lyrics just worked at the time and still sounds pretty good.
i got this cd as it takes me back to my childhood am not a big fan now but am glad i got it it remined me of some of the good times i had when i was younger i never set out to buy it but i got some other bits and saw the cd
i bought this album because i has it once before, but lost the cd and wanted to bring back good memories and it did. it was still as great as the fist time to listen 2 years later.
