At 3 hours long this DVD seems like good value. There's also a colour booklet with some good racing photos. What you get in abundance is interviews with Senna's fellow drivers, team members and commentators; also with his family. There is much behind the scenes footage of Senna at home on his ranch in Brazil, playing with boats, karts etc, plus the work of the Ayrton Senna foundation rehabilitating children in Brazil. If you want an insight into his philosophy and the qualities which made him a great driver then you won't be disappointed. However racing fans may be put off by the fact that there's very little actual Grand Prix footage. On DVD 1 - over two hours - there is none, only stills and footage of test sessions. Only on DVD 2, which is the previously released video 'Racing is in my Blood', do you see F1 racing, and then only as back-scenes to the review of Senna's life. Overall this DVD is perhaps best considered as a memorial to Senna the man than as a chronicle of his F1 career. In that respect it is all that could be asked for.
