Came on time and in great condition as promised. I would buy from this seller again without hesitation and i was thankfull for a Dvd i HAD LOST SOME TIME AGO.
VERY FUNNY FILM PERFECT QUALITY, REALLY GOOD MUST SEE FILM. AUSTIN PWERS IS A VERY FUNNY CHARACTER A BIT LIKE A FUNNY JAMES BOND. THREE FILMS RELEASED IN TOTAL AND THIS IS THE FUNNIEST OF THE THREE.
In his second screen adventure, groovy superspy Austin Powers goes back to 1969, where one after another hilarious gag is worked into a silly, stumbling, knee-slapping plot. This time around, Austin Powers' arch-nemesis Dr. Evil is joined by Mini-Me. Having successfully stolen Austin's mojo, Dr. Evil can concentrate on his ultimate mission of destroying the world. Meanwhile, Austin, with the help of gorgeous agent Felicity Shagwell, must now not only contend with Dr. Evil, but also the small but vicious Mini-Me. Also Dr Evil's son Scott finds out who his mother is.
The Spy who Shagged Me - not a title you'd expect to garner much respect, but this movie does okay. With Austin Powers 2 we see the arrival of such characters as Mini-Me and Fat Bastard, who inevitably help steer the sequel way from completely recycling every joke used in the first film. However, there is still that overlap, so a lot of the humor comes off a bit stale and tacky. There is virtually no end to the plot holes, inconsistencies, and various irregularities, but that is often a big part of the humor of the Austin Powers movies - making direct fun of the spy genre, as well as themselves.
And, on a personal note, Heather Graham is by far more attractive than Liz Hurley, and she flaunts it with great respect for us, the juvenile minded male audience. Overall, I'd consider this sequel about on par with the original, not in any specific details, but in all-around entertainment value.
The Austin Powers movies are now comedy classics and this one is no different. There are jokes and gags a plenty all the way through. If you love slap stick humour then this dvd's for you. It's definately one of my favourite comedy movies of all time. It's also spawned loads of catch phrases. "Yeah, baby"....
The DVD was a good buy, and I was very pleased with the item. All sealed and not damaged in any way. The DVD its self was a rather funny film and I now have a collection of Austin Powers films.
This is a very funny film in fact i have not disliked any of the austin powers film as they are very entertaining without going over the top for all ages in the modern world. Happy viewing and enjoy everyone.... The reason for buying the dvd apart from the statement i have already made is the ebay offer a great range and cheap price...
Austin powers 2 played again by Mike Myers from the first film which i thought was so funny in places and had some fantastic one lines that i thought when they made a sequel to the first that they couldnt be even better How completely wrong was i this film bets that one hands down,Mike Myers has to be the most funny guy around and thats probably why the producers chose him to play the main character How he manages to escape incredible odds when his character is up against a better side i dont know.I would defiantly recomend this film to anyone who wants a good comedy
this is an amzing film. i loved it and have done since i was young, wrong i know. throughout the years no matter how many times i watch this film it makes me laugh. there is no doubt this is a funny film and you dont need to have seen the other two films to understand this one.the humour in this film is mainly/all sexual so if thats not what your into dont even think of getting this film because its crammed full of these jokes. also i know a few people who find the character of austin powers incredibly annoying. however if youve seen the cover, dont hate him and think this film would be good to add to your collection your right.its a great laugh when having your friends round and i thouroughly enjoyed it.
