Attack Force (DVD)

Up until fairly recently,I was labouring under the misapprehension that Steven Seagal was monosylabic,as Jean-Claude Van Damme,but this Film has endeared me somewhat to Seagal.He still kicks ass as usual,but the story is a wee bit more credible.I enjoyed watching this one,but it's not a film to watch without company,in my opinion anyway.But I rate it pretty highly as a bit of escapeism,pass marks for this one~4 from 5.

Wow what an out there film one to see before you die, It was one killer film ... no it rocked as with all his films bad guys die and the Segal attack force kill the way to victory. As bad dudes go Adam Croasdell an up and comming star in the making total should of kicked his butt, but as in all segal film he dies boo... well I await the next film mabey he wont be so lucky next time. Highly recomended buy it now!!!

what i loved about this film is that steven seagal never let you down when it comes to action im always on the edge of my seat i have watched all his films todate except this one as i am an avid fan cant get enough of his films watched them many times over regards linda

A horror movie disguised as a action film!!
Theres a lot of slashing and cutting going on,and this makes the film seriously dark.
Steven seagal made some good films,he made some bad films,maybe he just lost the plot in this one!.
Steven Seagal (Marshall lawson losses his strike team in cold blood in a seemingly random attack,he takes it upon himself to investigate the brutal killings and finds theres more than he expected.
Its not what I expected as one of his films,nor will you!

I bought this film as I have always enjoyed the films of Steven Seagal since the first time I saw Nico (Above the Law) back in the 80's.

You know what you are going to get with a Seagal film but I imagine it would only be the other hardcore fans who would beinterested in this particular film. I would not recommend it as an introduction to the man.

The film itself is quite slick and has a coherent plot - unlike a couple of his more recent films. However my enjoyment was slightly marred by the overdubbing of the star's lines by somebody who did not sound anything like him - at indiscriminate points throughout the film, it struck me as very odd indeed.

Having said that it is an enjoyable piece of froth for the fans.

To all the haters of this come on its no brain teaser !! It's a guys film and as such should be treated with the respect it deserves!! you watch this film to see things blow up people die and the Steven win the day. Oh and the bad guy he dies (that play by Adam... Cool bad guy!!) !!! if you want a story line then this is not for you ....if you want beers with the lads and a fantastic film that will blow you away then watch this!!!!!!!!

When MARSHALL LAWSON (Seagal) loses his strike-team in a cold-blooded and seemingly random attack, he takes it upon himself to investigate the suspicious circumstances of the brutal killings. Soon he uncovers CTX Majestic, a covert military operation so secret, that now the military wants Marshall eliminated. Resolute in his pursuit, Marshall engages in a merciless battle with a drug dealer operation that appears to be secretly funded by a rogue arm of the military.

This "movie" is simply terrible - so bad in fact, that even I am questioning my blind loyalty to Mr S. The plot is the same as all of his recent offerings - which is to say he's the world's best bloke at blowing stuff up and kicking people around a bit and he is the man with no past, so high is his security clearance. Oh, and these days he only operates in Eastern Europe or the Far East - cheaper to film I guess. Yawn!!!

What really makes this film unwatchable is the voice they used to dub Seagal - who the hell do they use, has he ever heard Seagal speak??? It is so bad that it would be funny - but it's not it's a little sad to be honest a little like watching the fat, sweaty, jumpsuit Elvis while all the time you are wondering where the guy who he was went.

Mr Seagal please either stop making films or start making some with a story and an actual budget and how about making one in somewhere other than Albania or whatever those godforsaken locations are?

The bottom line:
Only buy this if you are either A)The most stupidly loyal fan (me, doh!!!) or B) want to throw the disc and sleeve away and use the empty DVD case to put an actual film in.
