  Rush out and buy!
Review created: 12/01/08

This is a classic live album of the highest order, Recorded before Rush discovered keyboards. The raw sound only adds to the excitement, The remastering has pulled more detail from the recording the band sound vibrant and are having a great time! listen to In The End for evidence of this in Geddy Lee's 1,2 Buckle my shoe count in. A good selection of early songs with 2112 in shortened form and the excellent By-Tor & the snow dog, The audience are in good voice too! This homecoming gig recorded in Toronto should be required listening for any fan of 70's hard or progressive rock. Many of today's progressive metal bands such as Dream Theater, Opeth, Tool and Coheed & Cambria in particular show influences of this great trio. Start here and you will soon fall under the spell of Lee, Lifeson and Peart, Every home should have one!
