The last link in the chain
On April 10, 1996 after 3 years away Alice in Chains perform what would be their last gig.
With a 13 song set list ranging from the first album to the last e.p. they take to the stage.
One of the things i love about this dvd is the extra bits i.e Layne Staley mixing up the the lyrics to Sludge Factory.
Even though the gig was awesome, it is also a glaring reflection on how heroin addiction affected Layne Staley. The once enigmatic front man was now a shell of his former self. He looked frail and ravaged. Tho the voice was still clearly there. As for Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez & Sean Kinney they play like they are enjoying the show.
