I remember growing up with ZZ Top when I was a kid. I was always envious as a teen that my dad had every single album on Cassette tape in his collection.
I can't say enough how great this band is. The awesome tunes one after another never get dull and I have the lost the amount of times I have listened to this album over and over again and it gets better every time.
Yep, this and Eliminator may sound quite similar but is that a bad thing? I think not. I cannot explain what it is about the tunes that make them so good, the only way to find out is buy it, listen and enjoy yourself. If you like some good old american rock, this is definately for you, and if the track "Rough Boy" doesn't chill you out, nothing will!

Another great CD purchase to add to our ever growing collection.

I decided to buy this CD because I have the original LP and it's got very scratched over the years. Also, in CD format, we can take it in the car and it's much more mobile than an LP! I hadn't played the LP for a long time but my two sons have recently got into rock music (13 and 11) and it is a classic album which they are now enjoying. It is also quite nostalgic for me because I enjoyed this album when it was first released and I still enjoy it now. It's a really good rock album with a mix of up beat rock songs and slower rock ballads. Something for everyone I think. A few good headbanging tracks too if you're into that sort of thing. I'm a bit old for that now!!
