Great little digital radio

I needed to replace a Panasonic DAB radio which failed, and was looking for something of comparable quality. I guess that all digital radios have 'perfect' reception, so looked for something that woudl actually sound nice, in this case by using a wooden cabinet. The stereo also helps. Considering it's a cheap radio, I do find the reception good and reproduction quite acceptable, although it's being used as a kitchen radio, rather than in the living room. The volume is good enough, I think you have to pay a lot more to get more volume. It doesn't distort at full volume.
It can be used as an alarm, but so far I haven't worked out how to use it! I'd be worried about a mains only alarm, as we regularly suffer from supply failures in this part of the country.
Disadvantages - its quite deep, and doesn't sit on the windowsill very comfortably with vertical blinds. However, this is the penalty to pay for a decent housing and reasonable sound. Also, there's no equalisation like the Panasonic, for speech / music etc, however I haven't missed this feature at all.
All in all I'm pleased with this radio.
