Acoustic Solutions DVD 222 Portable DVD Player with Screen

These are quite good machines, the screen is clear and easy to see with the colours quite vibrant. Sound quality is OK (it can be enhanced by using some good over ear headphones).

Probably the clear benefit of this machine is the kit you get with it. Car charger / remote and leads to connect to a full size TV are all present. This is a lot more than you get with many similarly priced players.

(I have sold a number of these players, with no problems so far from my customers, this would suggest that they are reasonably problems free)

After taking my grandson on holiday with his goodmans 7" dvd player i realised how versatile it was. It kept him amused on the car journey and watched his favourite dvds in the caravan we stayed in. I wanted one for use in my touring caravan when i do not have a site with electric, so i purchased the acoustics DVD222. The picture quality, remote control , 12v and 240v adaptors all work well but the volume on the highest setting is only just loud enough, compared to the goodmans which had to be turned down. I have since purchased another acoustics DVD222 on ebay for my father in law who goes on coach tours for his holidays, I bought the same model so he can borrow my DVD battery as there is no 12V supply on the coach seats. The battery time is stated as 2.5 hours but i only get 2 hours which is not surprising because no equipment or car mpg gives you what the manufacturer says.

What a great buy, this came complete with remote, earphones, battery pack, car charger and ac adaptor. This item is going to be so useful for holidays or even keeping the children quiet whilst I watch my own programmes on TV for a change! Well worth the price.

The price was great, also not too expensive on the postage. Which I find can be a great problem with some sellers.

Product arrived in good time, but it was broken, seller took 3 weeks to reply to e-mails. Goods returned recorded delivery, I have in my possession a signed recorded delivery receipt dated 11th July by seller but have never had a refund - what can I do please?

Cheap and cheerful - does the job for the kids though needs quite careful handling especially tricky to take battery pack on and off. Excellent value for money at this price though!

I won the DVD player and awaited its arrival as my sons 5th birthday present. On opening the box this item was superb, came with all the bits you need to play so i got a DVD and turned it on.!!!! Unfortunately it didn't work.!. I contacted the seller and they by return post sent a replacement. The replacement is superb. Excellent value and excellent product support. I did not receive the dvd player. I had to reclaim my money back through Paypal. After numerous attempts to cntact the seller without luck I contacted Paypal who managed to get the money back, I was very pleased with the way the handled this matter.

Good portable DVD player. The screen is a nice size and its very easy to use, my 4 yr old got the hang of it straight away. the picture quality is excellent but it could do with having louder sound, its a bit too quiet especially in the car

I liked the price, and the large screen also the sound/ volume was alot higher and better quality than my last portable dvd player, I bought it firstly for my 3 year old travelling down to cornwall from leeds to keep her occupied, but now we use when camping in our trailer tent.

I bought it because it was advertised as having a USB Port. However, It does not have a USB Port. I have tried to contact the Seller but she is refusing to answer my emails. I am seriously considering taking her to court because her auction was misleading. USB ports on portable DVD's are rare. She attracted a lot of bids because of the manner in which way she has advertised the DVD Player. I feel cheated.

this is an excellent machine easy to use and able to play all regions my kid love it and its cheap..

I brought this player based on another review on this item, I came across on the internet. It's one of the cheapest ones on the market, but I had to admit that I was most impressed with the quality of Vision from it's 7 inch screen and simplicity to use, if you also want to change it to a multi-region player then this also is quite easy, once you've got the code (but note that this will affect your warranty) if something happens to your machine.

The only thing I can say that I dislike about the machine is it's limited volume, you would expect a bit more of a boost but it is quite tame.

Overall it's worth buying, it may not be the best one out there but the quality is still great.

i was amazed when i found this i thought it was too good to be true but it wasnt it was totally genuine this portable dvd player is excellent colour quality is perfect everything works so pleased with this item the price was phenomenol if only everything was as cheap and great as this seller and his items

Hi,I bought this item because i have 3 girls and they always hogged the tv,my son who is 2 liked to watch his dvds so this made things a lot easier as he he could sit on the sofa and watch his things.

I decided to buy a portable DVD player as for a while I was bed bound and am not a tv lover but I had quite a few DVDs that I had not watched for a while. I was a bit dubious as I had heard they were not that great but to my delight found that the one I bought was brilliant. Not hard to set up and very easy to work - I am not too good with technical things so the ease of set up and working suited me down to the ground. Am now hooked on watching DVDs in bed and use the portable player more than the one attached to my TV! Would certainly recommend buying one of these.

Overall good Dvd player. Like the fact that the battery is also the stand. Good quality sound and picture. Easy to use. Purchased as a birthday present and very pleased with it. Stylish to.

A very good quality player and exceptional value for money.
Very basic and easy to use doesn't even really need the instruction manual that came with it my 9 year old had no problems with it.
Considering the cost of it and the fact it is an entry level player I was expecting it to be a bit bulky but was very pleasently pleased with the fact it was more slim line than expected.
A great alround player, good for on the move kept my daughters amused and quiet on a long train ride to London, also very good for a childs room if they don't have a lot of room for a standard portable and DVD player.
