I love Abba - especially since seeing the film Mamma Mia! but unfortunately this item was in a shabby state. The ebay ad showed a stock photo and I would've at least expected a decent clean case etc. When I received it the case was dirty and scratched. The CD itself was scratched all over. Fortunately it does play -I left the seller a neutral but it would've been a negative had it not worked. I am surprised it was sold in this state. I wouldn't buy again from this seller.

After seeing the Film "Mamma Mia" I needed to relive the ABBA era with all the songs from the film. Let's face it - Pierce Brosnan can't sing to save his life - despite being James Bond - so the only way to go was back to basics. Get the original experts ABBA!

An excellant make you feel better CD which you can sing along to where-ever and also whenever. What else can I say best album ever.

I always loved Abba but only had the hits on an old tape which I hadn't played for years. After seeing the movie Mamma Mia, it renewed my interest and I decided to update my CD collection with the Abba Gold vol 1 & 2. They still sound as good as they always did & I may buy the movie soundtrack too as my 10 year old daughter actually prefers those to the originals.....I guess it depends what you hear first and what you're used to!

whether you are an abba fan or not, there music is certainly acceptable whatever your age. with the success of mamma mia a new generation are enjoying there music.I am in my 40's and my daughter is 10 and we just love it. also whether they like to admit it so do my sons (17 and 20 ) you will be singing and dancing to all there tracks (i guarentee it )

Excellent, a must for any Abba fan. Bought as a response to the film Mamma Mia. I wasn't dissappointed! definitely one to dance around the house to! A good selection of their most well known songs, well put together.

Quite simply, this is the FEELGOOD FACTOR of all musical Feelgood factors!
Yes, all the Mamma Mia music is there - the songs we love to sing along to... and the ones that stick in our brain days later and we catch ourselves humming... chiquchita la la la la.... I have a dream, a song to sing.... I believe in ANGELS.... and more.
That last track is a particular fave of mine: years ago in a time of trial and tribulation, I made a tape of this song and repeated it for the whole tape so that it was in my car and available at all times - it got me through the tough times, and like all the best of Abba songs, helped me to live to see another day! With joy and laughter... I can only recommend this CD from my heart - go buy it NOW!

Its in good condition so sound is excellent. I have been trying to bid for this album for a week but kept on losing out. It also helps me with my singing as we are learning abba in my harmony group at the moment.

A classic recording - the music just wants to make you move!! The music of Abba is just happy and care free and is easy to listen to no matter what time of day. Ideal for driving in the car and making you feel good about the world - for a change. More people should do it!!

I'm sure the sale of Abba music has gone up since the new film Mamma Mia was released recently and having just seen the film myself it brought it back to me just how brilliant their music was (still is). I know there is a cd available of the cast singing the Abba songs featured in the film but I prefer to listen to the real thing.
I did buy two cd's, one for myself and the other for my friend who watched the film with me.

Dateless songs. Bought it because we are going to see mama mia and wanted to introduce my daughter to songs that i grew up listening to. They are still fab and they are starting to learn the words!

when i came to play the cd properly,it was full of scratches and jumped on most of the tracks. i am unhappy with the condition of the cd and the amount paid for it in this condition.

The songs are timeless and having watched the movie Mamma Mia, even more so! How can you not like the music of Abba?

The name ABBA speaks for itself, one of the greatest bands of the 70's. I have already owned a copy of this cd before but lost it. The greatest hits cd doesn't have a bad song on it, and is still selling very well today. I can't say enough about it except that it appeals to all ages from my mother (72) to my daughter (10).

Brill album with all abba's hits. a wonderfull rolercoaster ride of musical emotional fun. there's a song for every one except non abba fans obviously, they wont like it. why do ebay force you to write a review of at least 100 characters what alot of c#*k. I hate having the reminder in my ebay so i thought id write a review. I didnt reasise id be expected to be a times columnist, goddamn it its a good album but only if you like abba. if your into thrash metal or biscuit tin down the stairs music it aint for you. so dont buy it. if you like a good sing along to fernando, waterloo, save all your love for me or s.o.s the buy the bloody thing. right im done traa.

Great cd,music classic Abba, very current with the film mama mia now doing the rounds, will definately go cinema to see it. Good that Abba is now back in favour as their music is for all ages and timeless.

Most of this great group`s most popular hit`s all on one C.D. If you are a fan of Abba you will not become Bored of listening to their wonderful music.
