Rush - A Show Of Hands (1998)

This is a personal favorite of mine. For starters, it's a great sounding disc. The balance between band and audience is great, unlike subsequent releases where the crowd was mixed way too loud in my opinion. The song selection is great. Songs from the previous four albums make the bulk of the set list, which is just fine with me since it's my favorite era of Rush. I could have done without yet another live version of Closer To The Heart, but it was just the second time the song had made an appearance at this point. Also, it's just one disc, so the length is just right. Highly recommended. This particular disc is made in the former West Germany. Some seem to think these versions sound better. I don't know about that. The remaster will do just fine, or any other version.
