) I saw this film many years ago in New York.I was most impressed then by the acting of all cast involved the story of a young boy growing up in the Bronx in a neighborhood dominated by the mob and racial tensions of the day.A memorable film indeed and the music is spellbinding since I bought this dvd last month I have watched it three times and it has not lost its powerful appeal to me.
