As good as they get - if you like 24, this is s must. As addictive as ever. Leaves you wanting more and full of the usual unexpected twists and turns. Great, great series......already looking forward to season 7..................

Absolutley cracking, I was rivited, if I could of stayed awake long enough I would of watched the whole entire season.

same old same i know its fiction but a micron of reality would help the story along.its got to the stage when you know that no matter what the crisis, how close to death jack is, he will prevail.this series has run its course, put it to bed

For me season 5 wasn’t the best however, at least the standard set by previous 24s hasn’t dropped. It was still and interesting plot and wasn’t short of action.

At parts however, it did seem to drag with scenes appearing to have the same theme: Jack is on the run – Jack gets arrested – Jack is released – Jack needs detaining again – jack’s detained – jack escapes! or; we have the recording – we’ve lost the recording – we’ve got back the recording – we’ve lost the recording. It’s integral to the story line but does get tedious.

As we have come to expect from 24, it’s not afraid to set boundaries and then break them. Season 5 is no different and shows this by seamlessly killing off some of the best loved characters to have appeared in 24. A show that is actually successful in killing off the heroes is a show you do not want to miss......................................................

This season was just as 'bril' as the rest. I was impressed how great the writers made this season. Just hope Jack will re-turn with another season I know anyone who loves the 24 will not be dissapointed.

After years of watching Keifer Sutherland avert disasters it was hard to imagine where 24 and particularly Jack Bauer could go. The series remained consistently entertaining, action packed and addictive. Season 5 was fantastic. It has everything. The high lights for me were a truly explosive opening episode!! Jack is definately back!

The storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat, the amount of action you are led to believe to fit into a 24 hour period is actually believable. Jack Bauer IS Superman!

This is a series which once you start watching you just can't stop. The Story lines are fantastic - as are the characters - you will certainly have your favourite characters. And you certainly won't be able to watch just one episode because as soon as it ends - the cliff hanger will be that gripping - you will just have to watch the next one! Quite annoying really because i could get through a whole season in 2 weeks! Recommended to anyone!

Possibly the best series of 24. I bought this because I love the non stop action of 24 and having seen it before wanted to be able to watch the whole thing again.

Best season yet in my opinion, the first 5 episodes are more action packed than any of the other seasons, a must see for 24 fans!!

Jack is back and under cover again but who can he trust as all the people him are found dead so what wil happen watch and find out this series just get better and better.

Jack Bauer is back in what I consider the best series of 24. As usual there is a terrorist plot and as usual Jack saves the day but not without risking everything. The best series of 24 by far....worth anyone's money.

If your watching season 5 of Jack Bauer escapades then i'm presuming your up to date with the story so far. At the end of season 4 Jack disappears into the sunset with his bag of tricks and we're left wondering what could possibly drag him back to the counter terrorist unit. Lets face it that place has caused him considerable personal complications. However the script writers keep us on our well worn toes with a new sensational, shocking turn of events. I wish I could say more, but in the very first episode of the new season, everything the previous stories have painstakingly developed get thrown upside down. As we know their not afraid to violently lose well loved characters. The question is, which ones are going to reach a premature and grisly death this time. Not Jack I hope.....

As with all 24's to date this is good, but not the best.

That accolade falls to seasons 2 and 4. Having said that this series is full of the usual high tension and love to hate characters.

You know Jack will get even in the end but you need to know how. Just as everything appears lost, Jack saves the day and almost gets the girl.... But thats for another season.

Yet again 24 delivers.
Another awesome season that makes it almost impossible to turn off until you have seen all the episodes.
Fully recommend to anyone that is sick of the repetitive and uninnovative programmes that continue to grace the small screen.
24 is one in a million with excellent acting and thrilling plots.

24 Series 5 is one of those dvd'd, that once you start playing, you have to carry on watching right to the end. This dvd series is so good, you don't want it to end. FAB!

Not having watched the series on TV, I decided to purchase on e-bay have now watched all 6 series, call me sad, but everyone is excelent. Highly recommend watching, but be warned they are addictive. a mixture of James Bond meets Jason Bourne and Spooks, is there any coincidence that Jack Bauer,James Bond and Jason Bourne share the same initials? Good story line at a high pace with some great special effects,and good characters.......... you wont be disappointed!!!

I already have series 1-4 so wanted to get this as is such a fantastic series so know I wont be disappointed. It arrived quickly and was well packaged so am very pleased.

I hate this boxset but my fiancee loves it. When she recieved it she watched it non stop until it was finished. I was banished to the games room until she had watched all 24 episodes. A great tv show if you dont plan on talking to your other half for a few days.
