24 is bad for relationships! you will not leave the TV!

Season three again focuses on Jack Bauer, a government agent working for CTU (counter terrorist unit), this time attempting to prevent a deadly biological attack on the USA. An array of villans take Jack to Mexico and back, as well as leading him all over LA is an attempt to save innocent lives.
The story arcs are intricate and keep you guessing at every plot twist, and even when events reach improbable proportions it is difficult to not believe every second. I warn anyone who has not seen this yet, it is emotionally draining. There are so many cliffhangers and high-adrenaline moments, mixed with emotional scenes of loss and betrayal that makes it ESSENTIAL viewing for everyone.
I intended to watch an episode a day but after only a few episodes I realised that this would not be possible. One episode turned into two or three and I had to keep watching more and more. I finished watching this season in an 11 hour session as there was absolutely no way I could do anything else until I knew how it all was going to end.
WARNING: 24 is bad for relationships as you will not be able to leave the TV until it is over

  Superb entertainment, every last minute

This is a superb television program, well worth picking up.

yes people say the acting , story lines etc are shaky, BUT it does get truely exciting at times, and you just need to see more, and that is where the boxset comes in handy because you don't have to wait a week to see the next one.

If you think about it logically it is just like a 20 hour film, it also has a lot of replay value because it is so long you forget after a while everything that happened in it!

Finally the best thing about this series is that it is one of the few tv programmes where bad things happen (and the hero doesn't always win!)

AMAZING STUFF (ALTHOUGH IN MY OPINION NOT AS GOOD AS SEASON 1 & 2)

If this has been useful please rate me!

thanks

  Excellent Series. Excellent Ebayer.
Review created: 26/06/08

Bought cos said it was sealed, new, English and seemed like a fantastic deal. The box is the old style but that explains why the price was cheaper than others offered. I am really pleased with it and would recommend this Ebayer to others. It was sealed and in English and new. Excellent. Many Thanks.

This item was described as "mint condition". The outer box was a bit scuffed and it smelled of smoke so I would not describe this item as mint condition. The discs themselves seem good though. Also good communication, packaging and promptly sent.

have not had chance to watch it yet. If it's like the other two series I've seen, it's probably very good. It's compulsive watching and action all the way. Usually 24 x 1hr episodes, but the CD has removed all the adverts so that it is 24 x 40mins. Recommend any 24 series.

24 series 3 sees the show at its grittiest, darkest, and also most haughty all in all much better than the first.
Not only can you stay up all night, boggling as the plot becomes ever more complex - but you can also skip through the torture scenes and the Mexicans.
The DVD is nicely put-together, but suffers from the same problem as previous releases - the menus spoil you as to either Who is Coming Back or Who is Going To Die.

Deadly virus + Drug Lords + money= 24 greatest season
Review created: 10/05/08

By far the best 24; season 3 starts seamlessly with the threat of what appears to be another Bomb by Terrorists. Instinctively you cannot help feeling, surely not another bomb threat – haven’t we just been there? You start to feel 24 has had its hay-day and now it has resorted to similar plot lines.

Thankfully, that’s a statement which cannot be further way from the truth.
Season 3 develops into something we have never seen before and something which cannot be followed. It starts with a newly built CTU LA office, now split into different sections to improve efficiency but to add bureaucracy. Jack is once again heading up things if only the ‘field ops division’. However, things are not all they appear to be when we get a sight of Hero Jack trying to shoot up Heroin. The potentially deadly triangle--drug lords, addiction, and bioterrorism on a massive scale--sets the 24-hour clock ticking in a tight, action-packed plot involving a potential traitor in CTU's midst; the return of TV's greatest villainesses in Nina Meyers (Sarah Clarke). Let’s just hope Jack finally gets to Kill her as I for one don’t want to find out see has something to do with the events that fold out in seasons to come.

I’ve said it before about 24 and Season 3, even though the greatest; still has a tendency to occasionally lapse in credibility. This however, this is overran with great acting, action and intricacy woven sub-plots.

Special Features
• Audio commentaries
• Deleted and extended scenes
• DVD extras include behind-the-scenes featurettes (about the prison break sequence, climactic F-18 Hornet air-strike, and real-life bio-weaponry) that pay welcome tribute to the series' hard-working crew, who create Emmy-worthy television under pressures as intense as 24 itself. --Jeff Shannon

DVD Technical Information:
• Region Code: 2
• Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Anamorphic Widescreen
• Total Running Time: 18 hours (approx.)

The Free iPhone Guide

To get yourself a free iPhone all you have to do is follow the 3 easy steps:

Step 1 : Sign up for a free iPhone
Sign up at the link below to get your free iPhone. We recommend this free iPhone site because it's been TRIED and TESTED to work.

http://gifts.kudosnetwork.co.uk/?ref=172 (copy and paste into browser)

You can choose other prizes like free consoles from this site too! Make sure you use a real email address. Use your real details when you sign up so that the company knows where to send your iPhone! Remember that they have been proven legitimate, so will send you your free iPhone if you do everything legitimately!

Step 2 : Try an advertiser's offer
Basically all you need to do in this step is complete one of the offers, this is where the freebie site make their money, if you complete an offer then the freebie site will recieve commission for it. So if you complete Coral which will only cost you £5 to complete, the freebie site gets £25 from Coral. The two best offers are Lovefilm Free DVD rental (rent two DVD's, keep them for about 2 days, send them back and then cancel the trial) and Coral (bet £5 on a sport). I would reccommend you do Coral as it credits in an hour and is really simple to do, Lovefilm however can become complicated and takes up to 2 weeks to credit! You can also try one of the other offers, most are gambling offers. Don't skip this step! You must complete this step to get your free iPhone!

Step 3 : Refer some friends
This part is a lot easier than it seems, especially now with free iPhone sites getting so popular. There's lots of people online who want a free iPhone too, so start referring them! You only need to get a few signups before you'll be finished. You can ask your friends or your online buddies. I already got a free PS3, Wii, and XBOX Elite without even having to ask my friends for help - there's lots of people online who want a free iPhone like you! One of the easiest ways to get a referral is to do a favour for a friend and ask them to sign up in return. That way, you both can get a free iPhone!

Basic rules
Don't break these rules! This is the only reason that you won't get your free iPhone, so make sure you follow these rules!

- One account per household - don't use a public computer to sign up!
- Use real information - this is a proven legitimate site and they will not give out your information.
- Only complete each offer once! You cannot complete the same offer again, even for different freebies.
- Don't try to cheat the system. This site has been proven legitimate, and they will catch you if you try to cheat. If you do everything legitimately, by following this guide, you will get a free iPhone!

Thats all, just follow my guide and you will have your free iPhone in no time.

Thank you.

  How do you improve perfection?
Review created: 13/02/08(updated 13/02/08)

24 Series 3 picks up three years after season 2 ends and provides a fantastic third chapter in the life of Jack Bauer and CTU.

After the events of Season 2, Jack has been working undercover with a drug cartel, which has led to him picking up some nasty personal habits. Not content to just let this be his demon for the day, a bunch of terrorists decide they don't like Los Angeles the way it is, and threaten the sanctity of the city with an all new Weapon of Mass Destruction.

In wades Jack, with all the usual suspects, to help sort the mess out - but is Jack's involvement really the solution this time...or the problem?

This is a blistering season that packs a punch right from minute 1 and doesn't stop until you are certain that Jack is insane. That's when the series does what it does best and throws more clever twists at you than Lost will ever have.

There is no comparison. 24 is the best things to happen to TV since TV was invented!

24 is without question the most addictive series to be made. From the 1st hour to the 24th hour it is edge-of-the-seat compulsive viewing. If anyone has not seen this series then start buying the series, get some snacks in, unplug the phone and enjoy!I actually started to look at various situations in real life and wondered what Jack Bauer would do!!If I haven`t made myself clear....IT¬S A MUST SEE!

  24 gets silly!
Review created: 15/01/08

24 season 1 still stands as one of the greatest tv productions ever, with season 2 taking the theme to a new radical level, however, it is season 3 that turns the franchise into a farce!

Now, the show relies on Jack becoming near superhuman.

Where in season 1 we could see the day taking its toll on Jack, now it is brushed off and forgotten about by the makers. He dies, comes back to life and things that happen early on in the season are forgotten about later.

it's still an enjoyable watch but the concept grew very tired very quickly with season 3. If you don't like this then certainly don't watch the later seasons!
