Eric Clapton, 24 nights, the edited concerts...
This is an enjoyable double album, with eric clapton and many friends creating a good mix of orchestral and blues....thing is, the original concert on february 10th is very, very rare...these are just extracts on this box set. The blues concert was february 3rd, and was brilliant in its own right. Eric has done many concerts at the albert hall, this mix is not the best! I would look out for the dates i have shown, 10th feb. for the orchestral, 3rd for blues concert. Luckily for me, I have the original cd recordings of the michael kayman and the royal philharmonic performing, fantastic!

Love this CDI bought this CD for the simple reason someone "borrowed" my copy a few years ago and I missed it so much I had to get another. It was great to hear the tracks again.

this is a great recording.
as a newer arrival to the delights of the blues, i just love it.
i decided to buy it because clapton is playing here in cork shortly- i have a ticket!

I am always on the look out for blues / rock guitar music played by a master. There is no greater master than Eric Clapton and to hear him play live is just mind blowing. Alas I am no longer fit enough to go to see him live so the next best is C.D.s like this one. It has something for everyone Heavy blues to Light Rock and wonderful Ballads. I find it very difficult to state my favourite but if pressed I would have to choose the amazing "Wonderful Tonight".
As a diabled pensioner I need to watch the pennies and shopping on ebay allows me to see items often no longer on sale, at affordable prices. Who can resist a bargain and with the quality I have received I have no complaints, only praise for the sellers and for ebay
